Realizing Rapid Kinetics of Na Ions in Tin‐Antimony Bimetallic Sulfide Anode with Engineered Porous Structure

Metallic sulfide anodes show great promise for sodium-ion batteries due to their high theoretic capacities. However, practical application is greatly hampered by poor electrochemical performance because of the large volume expansion sulfides and sluggish kinetics Na+ ions. Herein, a porous bimetallic SnS/Sb2S3 heterostructure constructed that encapsulated in sulfur nitrogen codoped carbon matrix (SnS/Sb2S3@SNC) facile scalable method. The structure can provide void space alleviate upon cycling, guaranteeing excellent structural stability. unique S, N together facilitate fast-charge transport improve reaction kinetics. Benefitting from these merits, SnS/Sb2S3@SNC electrode exhibits capacities 425 mA h g−1 at 200 after 100 cycles, 302 500 400 cycles. Moreover, anode shows an outstanding rate with capacity over current density 5000 g−1. This study provides new strategy insight into design materials potential realization applications next-generation batteries.
